A.T. Kearney’s approach toward diversity is evolving with the changing needs of our people. Our women’s programs and initiatives focus on the uptake, intake, and retention of women. We encourage flexibility, including part-time work, hybrid roles, reduced hours, secondments, and new positions and career paths to help women achieve their aspirations. We manage options across the woman’s career, at both the firm and team levels.
Success with Flex is a global program that facilitates part-time options and other alternate schedules, such as working less days per week or fewer hours. It also supports working from home and job-sharing. We support our people in choosing options that help them pursue their personal and professional goals.
The WorkSmart Program entails the effective use of technology, remote working arrangements, alternate travel schedules, and different work allocations to create more options within teams. A team can choose to participate in the program and develop a charter that balances team objectives and personal goals of team members. Workload management is achieved by active dialogue throughout the project.
Recently, we launched a program for the future leaders and strong contributors of the firm to develop a relationship with a senior sponsor who is a leader within the firm. The sponsor helps them think through their career paths and serves as an advocate for their interests, supporting their advancement and development within the firm. This program has no overlap with any other role, ensuring that it is a relationship based on trust.
