How to Transform Russian Companies into Strong, Lean and Agile Competitors

A.T. Kearney hosts this event in cooperation with Hay Group and selected companies that have successfully mastered a major transformation in Russia. The roundtable discusses A. T. Kearney’s fit approach and the cultural aspects of transformation.

Transforming companies after M&A, to boost revenues, to optimize costs, and to enhance operational efficiency is a major challenge in general. To achieve that objective in the Russian environment is even more demanding. The vast size of the country, the level of bureaucracy, still exiting hierarchical structures and thinking, as well as limited customer orientation are major hurdles that have to be mastered. To discuss potential approaches on how to transform Russian companies, we invite senior executives across all industries to an exclusive roundtable to shed light on how to run such programs successfully, how to overcome change management issues, how things can be done in a pragmatic and results-oriented approach. Our research and experience show that a major obstacle always harms transformation efforts: the missing holistic bundling of hard measures, such as re-organization or process optimization, with soft factors, including cultural elements and employee motivation, empowerment and commitment.
