Igor Agamirzian

CEO and Head of the Management Board of RVC


Igor Agamirzian graduated from Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of Leningrad State University. He obtained a PhD in physics and mathematics from the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. From 1995 to 2007, he rose through the ranks from a consultant to the chief strategy officer of Microsoft Consulting. Since 2009, he has been appointed the CEO and head of the management board of OJSC “RVC”.  He is a member of the Presidential Commission for Modernization and Technological Development of the Russian Economy, and a member of the Commission under the head of the Russian government on high technology and innovation.


Anna Belova

Professor, Vice Dean of Higher School of Management
National Research University "Higher School of Economics"


Anna Belova graduated from Moscow Engineering and Physics Institute and possesses a PhD in systems engineering. From 2001 to 2003, she was deputy minister of Railways of the Russian Federation and was responsible for reforms of Russian railways. From 2003 to 2005, was vice-president of OJSC “RZD” and was responsible for the reforms and corporate development. From 2005 to 2007, she served as advisor of the head of the Federal Agency for Atomic Energy and was responsible for transformation of Russian nuclear industry. From 2007 to 2011, she was a member of the board, deputy CEO, director of strategy, and corporate development and integration of OJSC "Siberian Coal Energy Company". She is a member of the Advisory Council of ANO “Strategic Initiatives Agency for New Projects Promotion”, manages “Strategic Planning” working groups, and is a member of a working group for public-private partnership development in the innovation sector of the government commission on high technology and Innovation chaired by V. Putin.


Edward F. Crawley

President of Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology


Edward F. Crawley earned his doctoral degree in aerospace structures at MIT. From 1996 to 2003, he has served as dean of the Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT. From 2003 to 2006, he served as executive director of the Cambridge-MIT Institute. He has also served as chairman of NASA Advisory Committee on Technology and Commercialization, and has been a member of NASA Advisory Committee. Edward has also been a visiting professor at Moscow Aviation Institute, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Stanford, and Cambridge Universities.


Olga Dergunova

Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation – Head of Federal Property Management Agency


Olga Dergunova graduated with honors from the Faculty of Cybernetics of Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics where she also obtained a postgraduate course diploma. From 1994 to 2007, she rose through the ranks from chief representative officer to CEO and president of Microsoft in Russia and the CIS. From 2007 to 2010, she served as a member of the Board of VTB Bank. In accordance with the decree of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation as of 29 June 2012 No. 1127-p and the order of Ministry of Economic Development of Russia as of 29 June  2012 No. 1607-л Olga K. Dergunova was appointed deputy minister of economic development of the Russian Federation and head of the Federal Property Management Agency. 


Alexander Galitsky

Founder and Managing Partner of Almaz Capital Partners


Alexander Galitsky graduated from Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology and obtained a PhD in technical sciences. Until 1992, he worked for “ELAS” (radio-satellite system) Research and Production Association as chief designer. He is a founder of the venture fund Almaz Capital Partners and incubator Runa Park, including seed fund Runa Capital. He is a member of the Board of the Fund “Skolkovo”, and a member of the board of directors at Parallels PGP Inc. He is an inventor and possesses more than 30 patents. 


Sergei Guriev

Rector of New Economic School, Professor of Finance at Morgan Stanley


Sergey Guriev graduated with honors from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and obtained a PhD in physical and mathematical sciences. He underwent a training course at the economics department of Massachusetts Institute of Technology. From 1998 to 2002, he served as head of the Continuing Professional Education Centre of the New Economic School. From 2002 to 2004,  he was vice president of development of the New Economic School. Since 2004, he has been appointed rector of the New Economic School. Since 2005, he has been appointed president of the Economic and Financial Research Centre at the New Economic School. He also taught as a visiting professor at Princeton University in 2003/04 academic year. He is a fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CERP) (London) and a co-editor of Economics of Transition journal (London). 


Anatoly Karachinsky

President of IBS Group


Anatoly Karachinsky graduated from Moscow Institute of Railway Engineers as a system engineer. From 19811 to 1986, he worked at All-Soviet Union Scientific and Research Institute of Railway Transport Computer Center. From 1988 to1992, he has been technical director of “Intermicro” joint venture. Since 1992, Anatoly has served as president of IBS Group. He was the first Russian businessman to win “Entrepreneur of the Year 2003, Russia” founded by Ernst & Young and held in 35 countries. In 2004 he represented Russia at the international competition in Monaco.


Boris Nemsic

Former CEO of OJSC “VimpelCom”


Boris Nemsic graduated from the Technical University of Sarajevo and earned a PhD at Vienna University of Technology. Since 1990, he has been leading the Mobile Communications Development Department of Ascom. From 1997 to 2007, he has occupied senior management positions at Mobilkom Austria. From 2006 to 2009 he has served as CEO of Telekom Austria Group. From 2009 to 2010 he has served as CEO of OJSC VimpelCom. Since July 2011 he has been a member of Executive Partners Group of Delta Partners in Dubai.


Edward Shenderovich

Managing Director of Kite Ventures


Edward Shenderovich graduated from University of California, Berkeley, majoring in philosophy and literature. Previously Edward was founder and CEO of Quantum Art, the company developing the Internet software. He has worked in SUP since its foundation and played an important role in the development of Ixtens, a leading trade integrator of Amazon's Merchants Program and a new social network Dandelife. He is a professor of Business Modeling in MiNE (Management in the Network Economy), a joint program of University of Berkley and Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. 


Alexei Sitnikov

Vice President for Operations and Development of Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology


Alexei Sitnikov graduated from the history department of Yaroslavl State University. He earned his master’s degree in political science from Central European University in Budapest and master’s degree in political Science from Stanford University. Alexei also obtained a doctoral degree in political science from Stanford University. In 2003, he became a co-founder and vice president for development at the Global Technology Symposium in Silicon Valley. From 2005 to 2010, he served as vice president for operations and development at the New Economic School. Since 2010, he has been appointed vice president for development of Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. 


Regina von Flemming

CEO of Axel Springer Russia


Regina von Flemming graduated from the Free University of Berlin majoring in political science and macroeconomics. She also possesses a diploma from the Political Science Institute in Paris, France. She has been a research fellow at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. From 1988 to1989, she worked as a reporter in Der Spiegel in Moscow. From 1993 to 1996 she served as a consultant at Treuhand Osteuropa Beratung. From 1997 to 2007 she directed business practices for the Committee of the Union of German Economy in the Russian Federation. Since 2000, she has served as vice president of Delta Capital. Since 2005, she has also been appointed to CEO of Axel Springer Russia. 


Yan Yanovskiy

President, Member of the Board at BioEnCo


Yan Yanovskiy earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with honors at Fordham University, USA. In 2002, he earned a master’s degree in international management with special honors from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Glendale, USA an MBA at Fordham University Graduate School of Business. From 2002 to 2004, he was project manager for corporate finance in Central Europe Trust. Since 2004, he has worked at OJSC JSB Rosbank. Since 2005, he has been appointed managing director. From 2007 to 2010 he served as managing director and a member of the board of directors of the United Industrial Corporation. From July 2011 to May 2012 he was president and a member of the board at BioEnCo. He led creation and development of regional full production cycle bioenergy clusters for peat cutting and processing.


Ksenia Yolkina

Head of Startup Research Group at Yandex


Ksenia Yolkina graduated from Russian State University for the Humanities in 2005. From 2007 to 2010, she has worked as chief editor of Russia’s largest online store OZON.ru. Since 2011, she has been leading Startup Research Group at Yandex. Since 2012, she has been appointed head of International Relations Development Group at Yandex.


Pavel Teplukhin

Chief Country Officer for Deutsche Bank in Russia


Pavel Teplukhin graduated with honors from the Economics Faculty of Moscow State University where he earned a PhD in economics. He also obtained a master’s degree at London School of Economics. In 1991 Pavel became one of the founders of Troika Dialog. Until 2010 he served as managing director of the company. From 1997 to 2010 he was appointed president and CEO of Troika Dialog. He has played a key role in the creation of the securities market, Russian collective investment, and private banking industries. He is one of the ideologists and co-authors of pension reform in Russia. He has been numerously awarded.
