The Best Innovator Russia Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner were impressively delivered on December 11, 2012 at the magnificent Petrovsky Palace, Moscow. This inaugural event was held in partnership with Forbes, the New Economic School (NES), the Russian Venture Company (RVC), and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology with nearly 70 guests in attendance, ranging from clients, leading academics, government officials, and key business leaders.

4)    Large companies: Consumer offering – Rosatom for being active across the entire value chain and driving innovation within both core nuclear and future technologies to re-shape the energy landscape in the country
5)    Large companies: Process & organization – Sberbank for upgrading service and delivery with a renewed customer focus over the last few years, driven by the top-down culture of their CEO, German Gref

"On average, Russian companies, compared to the West European ones, trail them in such areas as innovation strategy, business organization, and performance measurement. The lag is mainly caused by the lack of interaction with the environment and the uncertain criteria for measuring results. At the same time, Russian innovation champions are at the same level as the West European leaders,” commented Soeren Grabowski, the competition initiator and the head of A.T. Kearney's Strategic IT Practice in Russia and CIS countries.

The initial feedback of the guests, partners, and jury members was highly positive, and the event was a milestone to position A.T. Kearney among the top-3 consulting players of the Russian market.
