Censeo
In support of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Strategic Purchasing Initiative (SPI), Censeo helped transform the way that the USMC purchases and manages all of its IT equipment. Working with senior USMC executives, Censeo led the effort to develop an organization-wide IT acquisition strategy geared toward reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) and improving mission delivery. The resulting acquisition strategy is currently being implemented with an estimated savings of $20 to $30 million over the next five years.

In support of the Department of Defense’s strategic sourcing effort for Clerical Support Services, Censeo developed an innovative acquisition strategy and is currently leading the Navy effort to implement the strategy and to establish a DoD-wide acquisition vehicle. The scope of Clerical Support Services included all labor categories associated with administrative work, including secretaries, general clerks, and accounts clerks. The total spend addressed by this effort includes over $60 million annually, with an estimated savings of over 20 percent.

Censeo
Censeo led an effort for the USMC to analyze the current process for clothing acquisition and inventory management. The scope of the effort includes standard issue uniform clothing, Class II Combat Clothing and Individual Equipment and NBC clothing. Censeo conducted extensive analysis of the various processes used throughout the entire lifecycle for each category of clothing, from need identification through disposal. Specific analyses included demand generation and specification development, funding, equipment and supplier selection, initial fielding, distribution, inventory management programs, and sustainment. Through this effort, Censeo identified a number of opportunities to improve the overall supply and provisioning process, while eliminating waste.
